I came here to suggest exactly the same. Is it possible? Getting ready of symbols that are confusing?

I got a code with two 0, or maybe two O, or maybe the first one was a 0 and the second one an O... an O and a 0 perhaps?
No wonder I did not type it right :mclaugh:

It said it's case insensitive, so it doesn't matter whether you type o or O and it said there were no Zeros, if I recall rightly.

(It's the same CAPTCHA as the one on the front page if you entered the wrong password too many times and my passwords are really long and complex and as I need to enter them often for trades, I'm quite used to that CAPTCHA... :qoops: )

I have to agree-- the captcha is hard to read and long to type in. I chat a lot in spam threads... the frequency of the captcha isn't annoying, but how long it takes me to figure it out and type it in is. I've been to several sites that use smaller captchas (usually 3-4 characters) that are very easy to read... if you go to Google and image search for "captcha", the very first photo is a prime example of what I mean.
Google Image Search for "Captcha"

I definitely agree with protecting the servers from overload due to people botting in the spam forum, but it's sad that a few bad apples cause hassle for the rest of us. If the captchas were easier, I would have absolutely no issue with them.

Thanks for listening to my suggestions. :mccute:
