And I'm pissed about my art.
Everything I make is just a pile of worthless shit.

I try not to worry about test and stuff because usually if i get really
worried it starts to wreak havoc on my body and in turn mess up my mind.
so i try to just be calm and study as much as i can
I took the SOL for reading and writing (this year, junior year of HS)
and it wasn't bad....just boring Cx
i got pass advance on both of them :D....i was soo excited.

Hiya, been popping in and out of threads all day. Anyways, a suggestion for potential commisions: here in florida, we get some big cons that come through, metro being the latest. They have an artist alley, where people see fan art. Most do commision work, either while you wait, or overnight. My sister is 16, and metro says as long as she has someonE 18 or over helping, she can run it. Maybe look into a small booth at a local convention in your area. It gets your foot in the doorway.

Ok... Here's my brain on this issue: You said that 410 was the lowest score, and your practice test was 440? What's the highest? If this "lowest" is lowest score to pass, then I'd be a little nervous, but if it's the lowest score that someone actually got, then it doesn't mean it's a fail. *head scratch* Besides, a practice test only shows your current knowledge at
that time, and now you have
more time to add more knowledge!! So, easily, your score should go up!
Just sit back, breathe, study a little, take a few breaks (or do what I do: eat sammiches and snacks while studying next to a window with good light and a comfy seat), but stressing over it will just make it
worse *hug*

Sorry, went adhd. Kurokoo is just entering her Junior year of high school, and is working towards getting her first job. Kinda cute, since she knows for college and onwards, her life will become about work, so she wants to fine tune her skills now. I told her to start making sellable art now, because Metro (the one she can sell in) is in one year's time. I figure, if she can make one project a week, she will have 52 pieces of original art, mind you, not including prints.
That is another thing. Can't you sell artwork on Deviant Art?

i would hate for someone who was 17 doing better art than me
but for me usually i drive my frustration into working myself x100 times harder
than i had been before to get as good or even better than that person
that's just how i work x'D

i see......i need experience so tht's why i want a job. i was offered one already but my mom is sick and needs me so i'm out of luck there.
my art teacher has a studio kinda selling corner/building called the torpedo factory, so i might just go there to learn the ropes'n'stuff >.<
