We have some Eastern Europeans living above us and they are loud all the time too... their daughter must be younger than 5 as she is home all day, and she bangs on the floor with toys from 7am through to midnight :/ poor child must have stunted development from lack of sleep. Her parents never take her outside either.

My parents' neighbours suck as well. They had a long-going feud because they decided one day to just landscape the whole of the front lawn which goes across both houses, even though half of that obviously belongs to my parents. Ended up having to get the developers involved to show the original plans for the road and where they drew the boundaries between the land so that they could see they were on our lawn. Then they put up an obnoxious fence across their side instead of being reasonable people.

Wohooo, Jelly's beasty side :O

Damn, jacob, I hate when people do not take care of their kids. They don't need to be around them 24/7, but it is also not okay to just sit them in front of a television or something like that and make them do whatever they want. Also, that sounds like they give her a lot of toys just to keep her busy :/

My parents' were lucky enough. Their neighbors had to put up a fence from the beginning because they have always kept a dog xD
So they had no chance to steal my parents' lawn. But I heard that something like that keeps happening a lot.

@Jacob...yeah that sucks really bad.
It seems they dont want to teach her anything, even my daughter understand that she cant do always what she wants.
And she loves to be outside! It is pretty awful when parents dont want to go outside with their kids and rather chill on the couch or so. I know such a person either.

As a child, I loved playing outside as well. Damn, my heart hurts when I see all the empty playgrounds around where I live :(
When we wanted to play, we just went to a playground and there was always someone to play with. I remember the playground over in Bavaria, where my Grandparents lived. The largest playground was huge!! And when the weather was nice, there were always 10-20 kids playing there.

Where I live are also many kids on the playground, but I hate those smartphone parents, they rather watch their damn phones than sit down in the sand and play along with the kiddos.

Sometimes, it would be enough if they would talk to other parents. They don't need to play with their kids if the kids have other kids around them. But you can talk AND watch your child. But you cannot look at your phone and watch your child :(

So much yes.
They don't even give her many toys, I don't think. I hear two: one which is for banging on the floor, and one which is for dragging across the floor :') And in the summer when they have their windows open you can hear the child screaming.
Ugh, I hate them so much. I thought about reporting them to some kind of child agency last year but it's not as though letting your children amuse themselves instead of interacting with them is actually a crime. Just really poor parenting.

Actually, if the child keeps screaming, I guess you could call some agency. Because one does not know why it is screaming. It could be loneliness, but it could also be hurt. And if it does keep screaming that means that the parents are not checking if something happened and that might even lead to the child getting serious injuries or even dying...
