I joined during an event, growing plants
Lost track of the site for 3-4 years, saw someone mention it, rejoined

Last time I had played was before I had cancer, and since that was three years ago, well, obviously my join date's off
But since I don't remember when i did first join, I can't be bothered to get it corrected

You prolly made a new account, which would explain the date.
And speaking of uno, I love that game. My mom and I used to play that and go fish in spanish.

Maybe the stars started after you joined and because you didn't log in for a while it got confused and said that was your start date instead of your actual start date?

I restarted in the beginning of last year's summer event
So it took that and added a year, give or take
Dunno what screwed it up tho

Maybe it only actually counts years you've been active, like logged in/posted etc. So all the other years don't count.

That is a good idea, bt if you hover over the stars with the mouse it says years of membership, not years active :x
But I do think you might've hit the nail on the head, though it depends on how the stars were coded. If it was coded to link up to the start date then regardless if you were online or not the stars would change, but if it was coded by being active than yeah, I would understand that
