So what is the DK up to today?

DK is plotting on getting a 3T hard drive, dk got vol 7 of sailor moon, and dk is now reading Detective Conan =)

It's fine. Nobody around here wants them unless they're free, so I've just been re-reading them before bed in the mornings.

Once I replace the hard drive that failed (moms bday is next month too + the drs start planning her surgery/s) I can possibly hope to get the money for the books ><

Take your time. I'm in no rush to get rid of them. XD Plus, as far as I'm concerned, you've called dibs on them, and you really really want them. I'm not going to sell them off to someone else just because money is tight for you.

I understand how expensive surgeries can be; I've had two major surgeries myself, and those were astronomically high-priced.

I'm happy she's getting some sort of surgery PERIOD!

The doctors always just want to send her to therapy and pain management which aren't helping. Finally mom got sent to the wrist dr that I was sent to and she was all "You have Carpal Tunnel real bad in both wrists, the only thing we can do at this point to fix it is surgery" So she goes to see the surgeon dude next month to get a surgery date set and discuss other important stuffs.

The Wrist Dr also, ALSO gave mom some meds that block nerve pain. and she got wrist braces! She hasn't talked about cutting herself since she got the braces!

Dr said that the carpal tunnel could be whats causing some if not most of her neck pain.

*nods* Yeah, the body is really weird about muscle association and pain transference. I used to get really bad pains in my lower back that were actually caused by the muscles in my legs being stressed.
