@Hikari: It was for a church camp. They usually have it here or in Seattle, but since we have a sister church in New York too, everyone wanted to go there. I sorta wanted to go, but sorta didn't, so I decided to stay hom.


@Meme: Oh, that's where you're from? XD I've never been --it seems like a more foreign state to me than New York, even though I'm from California. It must be because I see NY on TV all the time. XD

I live in one of the big cities there...here... LA. It's great; everything is convenient and close by and there's always something to do. Every year I go to museum trips, fairs, festivals, beach trips, stuff like that. My brothers like to snowboard, and while I've gone up to the mountains, I haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet. The weather's generally good, if not tolerable, but I hear from other people that the traffic here is pretty bad. I guess it can be, but when I'm with people, I don't really mind it.

MD is Maryland? How is it?

In Wisconsin, everything that is sold to tourists is either cheese, Green Bay Packers, or some form of rustic memento from the backwoods. XD

Lawl, Mika, LA seems like a whole other country to me too, compared to where I live. Everything here is so...quiet. Also everything you want to see/do is far away, because who the heck builds neat stuff in Wisconsin? But I can't really see myself living full-time in a city, I get a little sick of so many people so close always being busy busy busy. I lived in Paris for a few months, and though it was beautiful and interesting, by the time I left I was looking forward to being able to look out my window and see nothing but forest, not a soul about...

This is true, but don't forget about all the beers, that's a major seller here in WI XD Heck, i don't think you could visit all the breweries in Milwaukee in a day XD

@Meme: Aha, I don't know much about small towns and such in comparison. I've been to trips on the countryside, but never really lived there, but it seems to be more peaceful, in a sense. TV always implies that everyone knows everyone else, which is pretty different from here where I don't even remember the names of my neighbors. XD

I would love to see Paris sometime! X3


@Mythic: XD Beer is only a plus if you can drink it. I don't take to beer well, except maybe Pesh. Wine on the other hand... <3

I'm not a beer drinker either, I was just saying WI was famous for its beer. Look at our baseball team, the Brewers! XD
