Akili -
Me thinking of you:

I think that a lot of jacks mean shoving something into something else.

I like door knockers. That way my knuckles don't hurt when I knock.

Do you scar the door with your boots? Or did they install a plate down where you kick it all the time?
*fascinated*

Light, silly, have you SEEN some of the precious stuff this world comes up with? I mean, look at acorn caps! Just look at them! They're like little knitted kufi, one perfectly fitted for each acorn head, and they even grow together, and they're just :qlov: :qh: :mclove:

There's a plate that's been there for many years
Door needs replacing tho, or at least the knob. It's about had it

I've never had steel toe boots.

But your excitement over acorn caps has proven your preciousness!

I had no idea that they made those. Sound interested.
Are they pretty comfortable?

Well, I've had this pair for four or five years so at this point, yeah

The toes, being shod in metal, do tend to get cold in winter tho

That's a long time to own a pair of sneakers!
Mine usually wear out after like a year. Of course I typically get real cheap shoes.

Aw, poor cold toesies. Thick socks?

Steel toes are not cheap, my pair cost about $60, and as I recall, that's low for steel toes

Thick socks, many socks, doesn't matter, I think. Cold metal on the toes is cold
