Yay, thank you :)
Yeah, too much protein isn't good. It really depends on your hair and what it needs. I wouldn't do a protein rich mask frequently, just once in a while. Most of the time I just oil my hair before a wash.
Oh yeah, it makes sense that if you anchor the extensions to really small strands that might be damaging. And the glue in sounds terrifying :o
But I guess if you don't care very much about the real hair underneath you can do that... But with so many better options I still don't quite get it. Is it easier/cheaper to apply?

I'm not sure that it's cheaper tbh
The hair CAN be resused after a sew in
but after putting glue on it it's kind of worthless
also If you don't know how to french braid
or have trouble french braiding your own hair
I suppose it's easier than trying to get someone
to do the braids for you
but nothing about that style seems worth it to lose my hair xD
my friend used to do it a lot and I warned her
and then she started losing her edges and finally listened
I will go to school with bed head before I get a glue in xD
EDIT: My mom said she found a recipe online.
It calls for 2 to 4 tbs of Coconut oil,
1 part Apple Cider Vinegar 1 part water and
a few drops of tea tree oil should help with itching
she suggests looking at some online
to find which ones work best for your hair texture

Oh, that sounds nice! I have used all these ingredients for my hair before, so that's a) easy, because I have the stuff (apart from the vinegar, at the moment I'm using citric acid for my rinses instead) and b) probably not too badly suited for my hair. I shall try making that spray sometime soon, probably over christmas I'll find time :) Thanks for the recipe!
Hm, sounds like the glue in really has almost no upsides. I definitely get why you would never do it!

I would love to dye my hair again sometime with a cool color ... I used to do it all the time as a teen and early 20's but haven't for a long time. Purple for sure.

Do it then, what's keeping you from it? :)
I still have a bottle of green dye lying around, but currently I don't feel like it. I still don't know what part of my hair I'd want to do in any case... (It's not enough for all my hair and I also wouldn't want to have it all green - last time I did a layer in my neck that would mostly show up in braids. Thinking about doing the ends, which are lighter so it'd show up better or some strands or something. But not at the moment.)

I really want to go back to crazy colours as well :'D I'm usually pink but my hair got into a really bad condition because of the medication I was on. We thought it was because of the bleach at first so my hairdresser made me switch back to being plain old brunette. I hate it, don't think it suits me very well. Anyway, I'm coming off the medication so I hope my hair will recover enough that I can be more 'me' again soon. It might take a while though. I actually lost quite a lot of hair, everything around the top layer now stops around the level of my ears because it got so fragile and just broke off. I still have the underlayers so you can't tell as much, but it's a lot thinner than before because of that top layer being gone.

I've always loved having blue hair
ever since I was 12 it has made me feel awesome
People kept trying to deter me from it
saying that it was just a phase and such
but 12 years later and I'm still doing it and I still love it
Don't think its a phase xD

Well, if that is a phase, it sure is a long one :D
jacob, I'm holding my thumbs for you that your hair will recover well! Give it some extra love and pamper it while you wait for it to regrow!
