i always thought when your knuffel lvl up you'll get some FP for it,but guess i was wrong >< and since they dont find any while digging,i am still trying ^^

They used to give food every level. But it was changed some time ago so that they give 1k every 10 lvls
If you have them maxed in just one element, they indeed won't find any food. But if you give a few (or more) points in another element, they should be able to find some from time to time
