Who did you sacrifice and why? What are you writing about them?

I suppose sacrifice isn't quite the right word. Loghain, that guy who killed the king from DA 1, gave his life to save me, but I chose to let him die rather than Hawke (protagonist of DA 2). Also I'm pretty broken up about all the redshirts I got killed through my bad war table decisions.

As for what I'm writing... it's just an in-character feelings journal. I am writing about my own feelings through the lens of the character I am playing and calling it fanfiction. Now that I think about it, I am also calling it pathetic.

That is a sort of odd. I'm guessing you won't want to publish it? So it doesn't matter if it's odd. Feel your feelings to your character's heart's content.

Is it very difficult having so many feelings all the time?

I don't know how to handle all these feelings. Sometimes I lie awake at night trying to sort through all the feelings I've received, and not being able to, so they visit in my dreams. Video game feelings only, of course. My apathy for real life remains strong.

I'm trying to write it in such a way that it would stand as a work of fiction, but considering the fact that sometimes I feel like a bad Mary Sue while playing the game, I think publishing the novelization of it would be out of the question.

You just need to make your reader feel like a bad Mary Sue WITH you. Then it's art.

Test it on me. I am very difficult to inflict with most types of feelings.

There are works of fiction that spread the Sueness to the reader, I suppose, but the technique of producing them is forbidden and ancient magic.

You will have it tested on if you if and only if I ever finish it, re-edit it into something respectable, and can still stand to look upon it without wincing.

Wincing is not an acceptable litmus test of quality.

How long is this thing going to be, anyway?

The wince-test is the only quality control I respect.

If I finish it, it will have one section for every feelings-worthy event in the game, and a smattering of others for flavor. So pretty long, in all likelihood. I won't finish, in all likelihood. (But there's a fair chance I'll keep writing it through my finishing the game.)

That's a lot of feelings. But not as many as Supernatural. I will consume it.

Don't you have enough watering cans yet?

Never enough water. I'm barely keeping up here.

We went on this very bushwack-y birdwalk today and now my shoes and pants are muddy. The apartment will be tainted.
