I was going for the Marines~ We had a nickname for the Army people~ Ain't Ready to be Marines Yet. :D It was all in good fun, we jest~

I didn't have a plan until about two years ago. I realized I like sharing knowledge and thought I should be a teacher... and then I have a few friends over in Japan teaching and they kept telling me how awesome it was... so I was like, I'll do that, too! So that's what I'm going to do!

I'm unemployed too, I was a truck driver but the job is too stressful and despite good money, it wasn't enough to make up for being gone all the time. That was another big strain on the relationship... added to that we were long distance. Things piled up and came between us... I thought things were going well but apparently not. Though we're still on good terms, though we don't communicate much anymore. She has a new BF and is going through some changes (I am too) but our lives are heading in different directions.

I like ecchi~ And dry witty humor~ And it takes a lot to offend me~

Well sounds like things are going better in my opinion.
Truck driving doesn't sound very fun at all. Teaching sounds lots better, so long as it's not little kids. I don't like children. xD

Actually, I prefer little kids to older kids. Older kids are more carefree and full of attitude whereas younger kids are open to school and find it fun...

Though, I'm told Japan is quite different, the older kids take it seriously and don't goof off very much.

Truck driving is fun... but stressful. It takes a certain type of person to do it. Some people love it, others hate it and only do it because it is a job.

If you don't mind me asking, where you from?

Bleck. Kids. Yucky
I'm in Alaska

Oh i believe that about Japan. School is a big deal there, which is good. They should be easy enough to teach :)

Yeah that's true. My uncle was a truck driver in Oklahoma and he loved it. I dunno how people can do it myself. Driving puts me to sleep xD I'd be a horrible truck driver

I kind of grew up with it~ My dad was a truck driver after he left the military, so I went with him during summer vacation~

I think mainly, I just wanna go to Japan! I love the food and the manga and anime, they've got awesome video games, too!

Ooh, Alaska, how awesome! So you're probably 4 hours behind me then, I'm in Michigan :D

Hmm it's almost 6pm here, what about there?

I've tried to get into the Japan stuff... Can't do it. I don't like 90% of their food, I've gotten over my Anime and Manga thing, I don't play video games, and I can't afford their awesome technology and clothes that I like xD

I am getting back into manga and very little anime interests me anymore, but I still have a huge fascination for Japan~

It's almost 10 here, so yeah, 4 hours behind... sheesh! Get with the times, man!

Booooo
I am from the past. Beware BEWARE!!

I have one manga I still collect because it is still being released, it was my favorite when I was into it, but otherwise I am very much over Manga and Anime.

Ah, there was a time I was over it too, 2010 through early 2013, I had relatively no interest, read nothing and watched slightly more. But there were a few series from early 2013 that I enjoyed and there are a few now that I am enjoying. Plus, lots of manga. I get sucked into stories and get emotional on romance ones~

Oh! So you're a blast from the past?

I just watched the Great Gatsby. It was pretty bad xD

This is funny. My family has a thick military background, and currently I have two cousins that are in the navy. I don't know whether they're marines or not because I'm not too knowledgeable about it (ironically)

My father used to be a truck driver too! He is amazing with all vehicles still even though he doesn't work on them much anymore.

You can teach English in Japan without knowing any japanese at all. My older sister did that not too long ago. She came back after the Fukushima thing though.
We used to make a joke that she was a time traveler and traveled back in time every time she came home x)
