Yeah, I was very quiet (by my standards, lol) this month. I was NOT expecting to place at all, it was weird that people I thought had posted far more were not up there instead.

January must have been a slow/quiet month in general o:

Considering how very busy December was, maybe people were just exhausted?

maybe, december had the event after all and that always spikes up activity

I do hope the site livens up a bit though, its sad and almost scary to see it so dead sometimes

December had two events, plus the CC of course. It was quite busy indeed....

Yeah, it's a little alarming to see so little activity. I wonder what the best ways of reviving it would be?

I think the site mostly needs more users, new users that stick around instead of leaving after a short time :c

but how to make them stick is the question then...

But yeah, to me it seemed like a slow month, too. Probably people were exhausted from the December events and then maybe people try to do more offline stuff at the start of the year because somehow the year changing makes people think about how they should be more productive /fit /whatever and they take up all kinds of new activities?

I really SHOULD make that "Guide to KofK". Make it a little easier for new people to get the pace and purpose and possibilities.

And then at least with new people we can link them there, and point them in the direction of the charities and more active threads, and things.
Give them a hint at the benefits of troth token streaks and checking in every day. Point them in the direction of apples and cupcakes so they can dig with their knuffel, give them some clothing to play with, etc.
