You go up to the bar where you can sort them, there's an option that says show all. It will show them all and when you get to one that's hidden it looks a little faded but there will be a button that says show or something similar near it. Click that and it won't be hidden anymore .

Do you see the "hide" button on your public knuffels?
It's in the same place, if you are showing all your knuffels, the hidden greyed out ones will just have "show" there instead of "hide", but it's in the same place.
