Wow, drinking black coffee has turned you off coffee. XD;

I act like a child IRL, so I can drink kiddy coffee. Besides, my family doesn't really promote giving kids coffee. My aunt didn't even like it when I drank coffee in high school.

It's okay, drunken convos don't make sense. Sven is one of my friends; the group consists of five people, generally: me, Sven, Stego, Roy, and Clyne. Oh, and I guess Tony is sorta the new addition, since everyone seems to like him. I dunno, I guess he's ok. XD;

Man, I wish I had a friend named Sven, Sven is a killer name. I'd probably just use his name in conversation so often just for the excuse of saying it that he'd start avoiding me. ^^;;

Yes, seriously 20 books on Hitler. People seem to think that if you restate the same info about Hitler in a slightly different way, it suddenly becomes new and interesting. -___-

XD Sven isn't his real name; he just dislikes us using his real name on the net (despite his email having his name in it.) It's not even uncommon. XD But yeah, Sven is a name he chose for himself. Before that, we would call him a lot of inside jokes-related names, like Twitch, or Twitchard, or Fish-Sauce, or Fish Feet. I guess he didn't find them to be very flattering.

Except for Tony, everyone else's name is an online alias.

Aha, isn't that the general gist of "Academia"? XD That's why I dislike textbooks --dude, when they change it up to an updated version, they hardly change anything at all to begin with. Waste of money. :X

Luckily, one of my friends gave me hers last semester since she had an extra one. x) She's so nice --but I guess we suit each other; I pretty much help correct her papers and stuff. I'm not excellent at English, but I have enough grasp of it to catch mistakes... er, and obsess over wording sometimes. *headfloor*

Hmm...I already have a Sveta, so maybe a Sven too would be overdoing it a bunch. Don't have a ton of Nordic characters. There's mostly no one magical up there other than the banshees, who are all hipsters and change their names anyway. Sveta is a banshee (well, half) but not all indie twee and such--she likes death metal. But is very, very, shy so attempts to hide it. But every so often, METALMODE gets engaged and she's all like BLOOD AND GLORY and...yeah.

Er...I digress. ^^

I'm glad that when you get to graduate level classes, at least in history, you stop using textbooks and just start reading piles and piles of source documents. Law textbooks are expensive as hell and really infurating, to me, because the cases in them are public law and thus available on lexis legal, which we all got when we enrolled in law school...so what's the point of the damn 200 dollar textbooks? Such a waste...

Yeah, that does sound pretty crazy. :X I don't know why textbooks have to cost so much either.

My brother is lactose intolerant. Here's what happened tonight:

Brother: *comes out with a carton of chocolate milk* Hmm, Mika, this is chocolate milk. Does this milk have lactose in it?
Me: I dunno. Come here and let me check.
Me: *reads ingredients* Well, this says it has milk in it. Let's test that theory. Give me the straw.
Me: *drinks milk with the straw* Hm, yeah, this definitely has milk in it. Thanks. >>b

Ahahaha, I love it when family members get weird. My dad does sometimes when he's real tired/on a lot of painkillers and he'll start ranting about metal (he sells/purchases steel and things to make steel products) for hours and hours and I just laugh and laaaaaugh...

Man, I'm having such bum luck with the sunbeams tonight. Only found one, though, granted, I was a little distracted due to knuffel digging. Still. Time to call it a night and hope for better luck tomorrow...
