Ah, yeah. That makes more sense.
I've never had my cards read. Have you?

Yes, but it's been years. Not since, oh, 1999 or 2000 or so.

Omg. Seeing those years has made me feel super old. lol.
Can you believe that was 18-19 years ago? Crazy talk.

1999-2000? I was in preschool, if I remember right

A deck and knowledge of what they translate to. Shadowscapes has a companion guide, both a full one and a small one if you get just the deck, the MU one has one that lists the cards and meanings as well
The play card deck I know most all the characters so I have them memorized

So a guide book and/or a good memory the tarot two I still use the guides a lot

Heh, well, time does keep passing. :)

I'd be interested in a reading for some advice.

Since you have the Manga card deck as well as Shadowscape, do you find that the decks are sort of 'specialized' in that one deck will be clearer in some areas and the other will allow you more insights in other areas? Or do they tend to respond to something else and the topic doesn't affect the reading at all?

That it does

That does explain why you're asking, then, though I imagine everything else is making you curious as welm

I've used the MU deck maybe three times
Shadowscapes is flexible, and a good beginner's deck. Very forgiving, until it's tired. Then it likes to be very off the wall
So do they compliment each other? I don't know, not with people selecting Shadowscapes
Plus I do know that deck better, so while I still rely on the guide for specifics, sometimes I can get a general idea from the cards pulled without looking
At the very least, Shadowscapes is gorgeous

I've also noticed that for me at least, Shadowscapes is a deck that doesn't like others touching it. I'm actually on my second copy of Shadowscapes, the original I took to school, had exactly one accurate reading (it warned a girl that she was gonna be pregnant, less than a month later she was knocked up, and wasn't the first reading that told her she was gonna be preggers), and after several months it somehow got wet so the cards all stuck together
Once, with my current deck, someone went to move my decks (I didn't have MU at the time), and when she just touched them, she got a very bad feeling pretty much body slam her, so she left them alone

I have done readings with both Shadowscapes and my SenBasa deck together. From what I can tell, the two don't really like working together, unless there's a hidden factor or unasked question. Then the latter deck picks up on it
Cuz I had someone, they asked X or Y, both decks. Shadowscapes said "either or is fine" while the SenBasa deck pulled Otani Yoshitsugu, who is very much not a nice person, and even when he's nice to someone, there's a 100% chance that person is a means to the end of a goal, and that's it
Pulling him scared the everlasting shit out of that person. Turns out they wanted to ask about someone who they knew like that, but didn't want to ask publicly (this was on a site like KofK), so the deck (or possibly both), rattled them pretty well

It's getting too late for me to have much brain, here, so I hope we can continue this tomorrow.
Basically I've only ever done readings in person, so I'm not sure what all you'd want or need to do them online like this, or what all I need to do, to help.

Seeing as I don't let people touch my cards, all you gotta do is ask the question and wait for me to respond

I've never actually had one done for myself lol

Okay.

How involved in the "Curiosity Stopper Whopper" stuff is it wise for me to get?
