How the hell did he misunderstand that? XD What does it mean he's not ruling out leaving his wife? I'm having a hard time imagining your relationship without that being the first step. Do you mean you'll test the waters before he makes a decision? If he's willing to date other women then he should leave his wife anyways, at least that's how I see it.

Yes, we should be okay financially for some time. We have some savings that should last us quite a while. But if I won't make much progress till the end of this year then I'm going to look for another job, but this time I really won't be taking any corpo shit. I'm not taking the burnout route ever again.

I don't know. It seems I understood some things too. XD I completely agree with you but it's a hard decision to make. It probably isn't a bad idea to make sure we're compatible first. I'm nervous about being in a new relationship too. You're not the only one. I don't know what's going to happen yet either. But yesterday we went shopping together and out to lunch. Haha, yeah, Ash can hug me to death in his sleep and often when I wake up to go to the loo, he won't let me out of his arms and I really have to fight my way out And other times all it takes is me blowing my nose or going for a glass of water and he's awake and confused about why I'm not in bed...

Well, a little jealousy is healthy, plus it spices things up for some ;P

I'm glad you were okay without meds. Btw, some days ago I had such a strong hay fever that I actually went to the drugstore and the medication actually helped. And it doesn't happen every day that I have such huge symptoms but when I do, that medication helps, so I guess it's definitely some pollen allergy or at least sensitivity. I suspect it's nettle for me, checking with some calendars and allergy apps.

I hope I'll be okay, although recently Ash surprised me with "maybe I really should live alone for a few months"... It's not about "us", he needs some alone time to sort himself out. So For a month or two since August I'll go live with my mom Wish me luck, lol. I suppose it's better than living with my grandma, but we'll see.

I'm glad the medicine helped. Allergies are such a pain! :/ I've had them my whole life. When I was a kid and I mowed the grass I'd have to wear a mask. XD I'm sure I looked ridiculous.

I never had any allergies as a child, so this hay fever is kind of new to me, as well as some of my food sensitivities. But I know some allergies can come later in life so I guess tjhat's my case.

Hmm, 7-8 years? But we didn't really have that phase of just dating but being on our own. We basically moved in together (to my granny's) sometime after highschool/in the beginning of university years (what makes about 3 years after getting together). His closest family moved to another city and he had no place to stay, so my grandma agreed for him to live with us. we've been living together ever since, either at my grandma's place, at his step-dad's, back with my grandma, and then the pandemic hit and we decided we won't be able to stay sane with my granny 24/7, so he rented a place.
I'm not sure why he needs to be completely alone but apparently I gave him the idea I can't even remember, but it totally sounds like something I would say. He's been telling me more and more frequently that he's generally unhappy and would like some alone time. So I told him (more than once, according to him, lol) that maybe he needs to live on his own for some time. He often spoke about going off into the world just by himself, be completely independed etc., so I supposed that's the feeling he's missing. And so he took my advise (which I can't remember, but I'm okay with it )
I asked him how long he'd like to live that way and he said he didn't even think about it XD But I don't think it'll be that long, since after not seeing me for just 2 days he was all cuddly and said he really missed me. And I was like: "how will you even survive a month without me if we were apart for merely two days and now you can't stop hugging me? XD"
I am not worried he'll break up because he still talks about our future together and I trust him. Plus I see this as an opportunity to find myself as well, maybe I won't be as distracted without him around, who knows?

My mom will indeed be happy, especially we both want to work in the same branch (proofreading, editing) and she thinks I know more than she does because I started my course earlier and encouraged her to do the same XD
I'm low-key worried she'll be bothering me with questions but I'm probably worried for nothing. I got that after her
