I feel like hanging things up to dry is more work too. For me I can just toss my clothes directly from the washer to the dryer with no problem. They're really close.
If I wanted to hang stuff up I would have to take the clothes out, find somewhere to hang stuff and then individually hang up each piece of clothing. Not to mention all of that bending over and straightening up. Lots of work.


What goes in those spice packets?

@MissNikki: that's true. For all my stated love of dryers, I do still hang up my bras.


@Light: spice satchels depend on what's around and how much funds I have. I still have some of the fancy ones from my brother's adulthood ceremony. Those were snipped squares of cinnamon bark, plus whole cloves, a couple chunks of nutmeg/mace, some allspice, and of course orris root. Most lately I've just gone with bergamot (not 'bergamot orange', but the native-to-north-america herb version), orris root, thyme, and lavender. Those I can get relatively free.

Sorry I haven't been on much. Joslyn has an abscessed tooth, so I just click for my and then I get off. She's been in a lot of pain. And yesterday we had very little sleep and we went to the doctor's then the dentist. She has an appointment on the 24th to get it removed.

Oh no, poor Joslyn! Hope everything will go smoothly with the removal and she won't be in too much pain until then.

Awww, poor sweetie! Although I guess learning early how key dental health is will help her out a lot, long-term. But pain is not a fun way to learn anything, poor tyke.

Thanks guys. She's doing well. She was able to go back to school and today I was told she's doing fractions. Fractions?! I am so flabbergasted at this!

Wow, I guess they were serious about giving her a challenge!
