moms are complicated
i know because me and my mom used to but heads all the time
because we have clashing personalities ( we still do at times)
but i figured out something
Mom only wants what she thinks is best and she doesn't take
disagreement very well but she means well ^^;
What i have to do is be really nice to her and help her whenever i can
and then when it comes a time where we are at disagreement
she is more likely to stand down and let me do my way because i've
shown her i also know what i am doing
Probably didn't explain this right....but it works.

Just give your mother some time and spend some time being nice to her
and getting to know her more. You might just find out why she is mad---maybe she's not even mad at you but at something else and you just happen to be doing something minor wrong that made her explode.
Give her some time and try to help her. Mothers always mean well deep down.

I'm still trying to get my mom to realize that i am not like her
they wish that we were, as daughters, but we're not ^^;
and it's hard to get them to understand we're our own person
when they're been caring for us and making all our decisions for us
for probably 12+ years
Old habits die hard.
Just stay out of it completely for a time and let the storm pass over.
when i'm mad at my mom i try to remember that whatever bad
she has ever done to me
she's done a hell of a lot more good for me to denounce her out of one moment of anger.
I know it hurts, and it's hard...really hard

but the fact that you call her "mom" says that she loves you enough
to care for you and be angry that she can't always care for you
now that you're older.
