That's true :)
I don't think I'd actually mind working at the same company, as long as we're not directly working together on a team. That would make me afraid that we'd just continue to discuss work all the time when it's supposed to be free time :D
But just at the same company might even be super practical. We could still commute together then :)

yeah and if its a big company you can def be put on different teams/departments ;o
only thing is if you ever have a worst case scenario and the company stops or such you will both lose your jobs in one go :x

Yeah, that would be bad. But then again, hopefully we'll get a job where we can put some savings aside for that case.

A nice job with good stability in terms of skillset is also really good, like when you lose that job there'll be others in the same branch you can just flow into I mean

Yeah, that makes sense. I'm really curious what kind of job we'll end up with... But everyone's always saying that computer scientists are needed, right? So hopefully it should not be too hard...

That was interesting to read your conversation :)
I don't know what I am going to end up with either, Chrizine :) So don't worry too much, I think things will get sorted somehow :)
Two friends of mine, a couple, finished their studies at the same time and also already lived together here. They both found jobs which were quite close to one another so it was not too difficult to find a flat :)
Popodoki, English and Theatre-Literature-Studies.. If that doesn't sound nice!
I studied, English as well :)
I am sorry to hear you were under such pressure though :(

definitely interesting subjects but yeah the pressure kind of takes away the fun haha
but I lived and now I enjoy my job even though it has nothing to do with my studies c':

Yes, things always sort themselves somehow in the end :)
Would you have preferred a job in your area of studies popo? Or was this how you wanted it, just leave the whole topic behind and start with something completely new?

I had no specific desires actually, not in field of study related at least. My personal priority was finding a job I'd like, with colleagues/a work environment I'd like. I value a good fun team to work with a lot more than specific enjoyment in the tasks I do for my job. I don't need my job specifically to be my pasion cause I can keep that as my hobbies/interests outside my job, but I do need to have that feeling of being happy to go to work cause my boss/colleagues are nice and such. And I have that so I'm quite ok with how I ended up!
I had some fears in the beginning of my job search, mostly centered around the thought of ending up at a job that I didn't really like to do but paid well/was in my field etc. I know I wouldn't be able to handle that for long.
