Well, I don't mind the surgeries as much, to be honest. Sure, they're both done under general anesthesia, which is always a risk, but it never made me any real problems.
After my first surgery where my varix was removed, I had to stay in the hospital for a day and when I got home, my leg hurt (of course), but I had to walk as my doctor told me. Since I can't sit around all day anyway, I did walk around and the only thing that was painful to me was the groin incision, which hurt while walking (as the movement "pulled" at it).
After my second surgery to remove the endometriosis excrescence, I had an intense pain in my belly, but it wasn't
that much of a problem.
You see, I don't actually mind the surgeries as much, it's just that I'd feel bad if I had to get one every 3 months or so... that's just not how it's supposed to be.
