Oh, normally I give them they're own element, if I have a double then I make the double something else.

it's definitely fun to have a double to play with!

All of mine for rhe most part have their digging skill for their natural element raised. I wanted my first knuffel have some skill in darkness too but I changed my mind.

did you end up resetting it by abandoning it and then readopting it, or did you change your mind before you'd actually spent those points, or did you change your mind later but leave it be so now there are some stray points in darkness?

That is so cool. I only got 25 But I only have one Knuffel that is fully evolved. Everyone else is quarter or middle evolution.

Are you guys finding more pastries with the max-level knuffels or the still-levelling knuffels?
For whatever reason it seems like my max knuffels give me 0, 1, or MAYBE 2 pastries and the ones which are only about half way leveled up are giving 3-4 each...

Somebody once told me that Knuffel get more experience from digging outside of their element, so I started raising them outside of their element. And I've been doing that for years, so why stop? Sometimes, there's some sort of "logic" in it - for example, Darkness Gen 21 reminds me of drow, dark elves, this kind of creature; dark elves in Elder Scroll games can naturally set themselves on fire, therefore, I'm raising my Knuff in fire element But it's usually less complicated, like "the sun is in the sky" (Light Gen 5 - air) or "you need sun to make a rainbow" (St. Patrick Knuff - light)

I have always known that, but then I would have too much attention to what is what when I dig... and that sounds exhausting

Not really, after like 15 levels I usually forget what was the original element. But that's me and my 7 Knuffel

I got 125 Pastry again today, lol. Now I'm at 1010/2000, so about half way to event Knuffel #3.


I have 2 starter knuffel that I purposely leveled up outside their element for the sake of doing so. I didn't use a lava lamp on either of them so it was purely from digging since both had the cupcake and apple. I find knuffel normally get something like 4-8 points on a successful dig while the ones outside their element get 18-25, though at first they almost always fail.

Can max level knuffel that are not maxed in any single element still fail at digs?
