Mine were actually getting sort of worse but my first pair of glasses were the wrong type. They gave me bifocals instead of single vision or some such.
And I have the habit of looking over my glasses which can worsen my eyesight which it did for a while. I got glasses at age 14, and it's only last few year or so they've slowly improved or stayed stable.

Aww Bon that really sucks, especially how the values (wrong word, but don't know how it's called) change yearly.
I don't actually need glasses, as I have hypermetropia and I was born with it so am pretty much used to it. I'm supposed to get a bit more tired than normally and that's how far it affects me for now. I wouldn't normally change my old glasses as I didn't even use them but went ahead and got my free ones last time.

i also look over my glasses..
they kinda feel like they got tinier?
(smaller) XD bue i used to wear it more near my eyes before i got this incredible bad pollen allergy.
I mean i had it back then too,but it got worse and now my eyes always hurt when i am outside and thus,i keep wearing my glasses more to the point of my nose now than before.
so a new frame would also be necessary.
got my first glasses when i turned 11.
i came back to school after summer holidays with glasses, everyone made fun of me first.But well,i needed it so what?XD
@haze
i like the color combination of your av..

I have no idea what background to use, so any suggestions would be nice as I have been getting this empty feeling myself.

My prescription changed and I got new glasses a year or so ago from China, they were super cheap compared to buying them over here. Of course there's a risk they won't be very good but it was worth it. I used Firmoo if anyone is wondering about a cheap imports company, and I was happy with my glasses that I got.
I always had two pairs before though because that's the standard way to buy here, in pairs. But this time I got sunglasses, so only one pair of "normal" glasses. I end up still wearing my old glasses at home because otherwise I forget to put my new glasses in my bag when I go out, and then I end up not seeing anything.
