Oh right, the event is ending, thanks for the reminder!
And yay for doing the phone call!
I hate phone calls myself, but especially that kind. Great that it turned out easier than you thought :)

always a relief not to have to deal with a phonecall for ages, the hold tune can get irritating real quick c':

I actually thought the event would end on the 7th, don't know why xD But I had my two sets by then. I occassionally still throw snowballs, but not for collecting reasons :)
Oh Akili, can one sell the items for a nice amount of food points on the market already?

I've kind of been selling them right along from about the third day....
Depends on what you mean by "nice amount" though. I haven't priced anything at over 2k, I've kept it all pretty cheap (partly to assuage my own conscience -I can say I'm helping people complete their sets!- but also because I want it to sell fast so I can pay off held items with Popodoki).
I see them occasionally listed for more like 3k or so, but I don't know if they sell at that? I think maybe only at the very beginning when people were worried if they'd have enough time to get everything....

I never price event items higher than 2k unless they're really old and even then I tend to go below the listed market price. But if people are willing to pay more then I don't see a problem with pricing them such cause in the end if the buyer feels that they've paid a fair price there shouldn't be an issue ;o

Akili, I think I might make candied orange peel instead, try it out going by what you told me! Because we don't get apricots here, I don't think I've ever seen any, except the dried kind. There are ways to make dried apricot jam, but candied orange peel sounds gorgeous and delicious whereas I've never tried apricot to know if I'll like it.
I'm glad the phone call went smoothly and efficiently!
The even just ended today and I was able to get one of nearly everything except the shirt- which I didn't like much anyway, but I picked up two colours of it, grey and denim, because I liked those better. I was all harried about whether I'd be able to make the set because I began in practically the last week of the event. It was a close call, but manageable
I actually think I had an easier time with this event than I usually do with events. Maybe because it's not a posting based event; during posting based ones I can't keep up with threads so I lose interest and don't feel like chipping into conversations only for the points when I know I won't be able to follow it until I can next chip in.

I like all kinds of events, but my opinion shouldn't matter much because I don't ever feel bad about not getting a full set c':

I am eager on getting a full set, but knowing I try my best it's not too bad if I don't succeed :)
Oh that's still already a nice amount of

considering that the event just ended :)

Do you know, I don't think any of them have sold since the event actually ended? They were mostly selling earlier while people could still through snowballs, I'm not sure why....
Speaking of sets, though! The new background items! Aren't they exciting? I'm super happy to see those but at the same time, there are already so many places to spend

....

Yes! The new BGs are lovely! I especially love the frame. And it even comes in my newest favourite colour combo of midnight blue x lime green :) I splurged and bought that one
