I think it was last week I was feeling down, so I told my daughter to come downstairs and give me a hug. She brought down a piece of paper with the word 'hug' written on it. Like kid, you too young to be a smartass. But that helped too. I love that kiddo. By the way, did I ever mention last year in shcool, she made me an origami emotional suport fox? It's so cute! I haven't named him yet, but I will someday. lol She's my favorite person in the world.

She's lots of fun. And a bit frustraiting every so often.
Minor rant:
Spoiler
Earlier I was taking water out to our feral cats and one of our neighbors was yelling. His dog got loose. Anyways, I asked him if something was wrong. And then he blew up at me, yelling cussing using the f-word. And I'm like just standing there absolutely unimpressed and I just said. "Yeah. Whatever." My Dad went out to talk to him. Turns out he's drunk and yelling about this and that. Claiming we're calling the cops on him and such. Like, dude, we haven't. We have little interaction with you. Yelling about my dad mowing down part of their yard. See there are two houses next door. A regular one and a smaller one in the back, I think they used to call houses like that the "Mother-in-Law" house. Both are rented out. And my dad would mow the part of the yard closest to the regular house. The drunk neighbor lives in the secondary house. Well, my dad had always helped out the neighbor living in the main house and mowed his part of the lawn. And the drunk was all "You don't need to mow my yard! I can do it!" First off, that part that's closest to our house and the regular one isn't his yard. Second, it's his wife or girlfriend whatever her relationship is, who mows it. Anyways, I can't believe I stayed so calm, though. Normally with my anxiety I would be a mess. But I think I just equated him to a toddler throwing a tantrum. Though, mind you if he had came over and yelled in my face, then I would have called the cops.
Luckily, we don't normally deal with him and his family.
