I'm not too great tbh. Had to say goodbye to one of my rats and I miss her a lot. But I saw a newborn baby on Sunday so I'm kind of high from cuteness overload now, lol

Awww, I'm so sorry for your loss. I really wish rats lived longer. I haven't had any in years but they were so sweet! Did you get a new baby yet? XD Are you feeling any better?

I'm kind of a mess right now to be honest. XD But I'll be fine eventually. I'm just so glad summer is finally here!

I'm feeling better now, but Ash and I decided not to get more rats. He was already over it with rodents back when we lost the previous two, but now even I'm kind of in need of a break from such short living babies. Although I do love them a bunch I keep considering putting the lonely baby up for adoption but she seems to be doing fine. Nothing as obvious as it was with Cotton in 2019. She's an older girl now so I'm not sure how she'd react to some youngster/s. For now we're observing how she's doing.

Well, my friend/neighbor died and now I'm falling for his son but he's married. I know they're not happy but still. And I don't know if he feels the same way. I'm in way over my head and I'm too old to get involved in crap like this. *sighs* I know I should walk away (I've been helping out up there still) but I'm not sure I can.

Exactly, I think she's enjoying all the snacks she doesn't have to share In addition I recently managed to get her to grit her teeth when I pet her. She wasn't doing it since Dash passed away and I took that as an indicator that she's now starting to feel better on her own.

Yup, rats do that when they're very comfy and feeling good, they grit their teeth and bulge their eyes out. It's creepy when you first see it, I freaked out with our first rat, thought she was in pain or something But that's a good sign

Thanks, looking forward to that, lol XD We're back to heat days and I think I'm allergic to some pollen that just started spreading because I'm suddenly getting water sniffles and sneezes and it's a nightmare. I do get a runny nose in the morning but not like that, it usually stops after 2-3 hours since getting up and today it's all day long. So yeah, I kind of wish there was some rain, maybe it would be better

We're good, I think I'm still waiting for him to go back to therapy because he's been depressed for a while and it's worrysome. But between us it's good. I'm glad he tells me stuff like that.
Other than that, our lease ends with the end of July, so I'm excited to move to a new place. Not that here isn't great, but it has it's downsides. I'm hoping for a pet-friendly apartment, so we can get a dog It's my medicine for wanting a baby, lol XD
