Go figure, somehow my mother didn't take them up on that. Now she's the one encouraging me to get them fixed *eye roll* It's going to cost me a minimum of £4,500 and that's just if I take the cheapest option with no complications.

Oh well, I need to do it. I hate my teeth so it's time to change that. They said it will take at least 12 months so need to start sooner rather than later, I don't want to be a mum with braces or wear braces at my wedding.
here even for a child, you have to pay the braces by yourself'-'
well the insurance pays about 10%(!!!!!!!!) which is nothing when it comes to something between here also 2-6thousand euro..
depending on some things,i still ahvent figured out.
Arthur will also nee done sooner or later, but i absolutly can not affort it at all..And since neither my ex, nor any other place pays for it..><he will probably end up like me,never getting one even if needed..

i also ALWAYS,when i eat, bite myself on the inside of the lips or cheak. hurts a lot, always bleeding...but actually the lips really have a hard time with me XD thanks to my betaisadona i can survive..><

I never understand when there's no free healthcare. It's like, what are you supposed to do? Just have problems and live with it? Eesh. Politics sucks. I'm happy paying my health taxes any time if it means free access to healthcare. Everything for eyes & teeth is free here up to the age of 18, and everything from hospital/doctor is free at all ages except for medication and private procedures (not judged to be medically necessary).

well the only things that are free here are medics for children up to ..yeah depends on the medics..
some are till 14 only..others 16 and some 18..
In cases like anti baby pills they're cheap until you're 21.. (cheap because you just have to pay a part of it. The fee for the recipe)
the recipe fee is usually ignored when it comes to medics for children IF its something against fever or so.
IF its something thats not nessecary to survive like nose spray, special tea for bronchitis,or non sentetic things (bio and such) then you must pay the full price for the medics..

we also must pay for some things like:
-exemption from sport or swimming,
-exemption from school (due to sickness)..
-if you must proof that your child is free of lice(i paid 10 euro for this crap just because his teacher, who bullied him back then, made things up when she saw one dandriff in winter)..

sometimes we need to pay for referral to a special doctor too...><
if its one of those "healer" guys, you know?
thus are just examples, they're more things that makes us mad ><

BY THE WAY!
do you know your own bloodtype?
here if you want to know it, without donating blood (if you for example, cant like me,since you have too less yourself) you actually must pay betwen 35 and 60 euro JUST FOR GETTING TO KNOW,you dont get anything .

I was lucky,i sneaked a peek when the women at the front desk, left my file open before i went home,so i knew XD without paying.
When my son was born,i asked the nurses to check it,since it was important for me

Paying for contraceptive pills too? Those are free for life over here X_X and any other alternative too like implants is totally free.

I only know my blood type because I give blood, but I'm pretty sure I could just ask to know for free from my medical record too.

Wow and I thought our healthcare system sucked.
Here you can even get new glasses every 4 years (up to 150 euro if I remember correctly), no matter how old you are. And that's quite amazing c:
But there are other things that really suck.

i have my glasses for almost 7 years now, since i cant affort a new one for more than 300 euro..<<
usually you pay 100-150 euro for the frame and about 200 euro for the glasses, depending on eyesight.
the insurance only pays 20% IF you are almost blind on both eyes (-80% in each eye)

i hate it sooo much,i really would need the new ones,honestly..
But in november i must pay another 350 euro for medical treatment, which is absolutly nessecary for me..
i cant help it,and i still try to safe up><
