obviously you need to look out for reviews and use some common sense but so far I've ordered like 20+ times from ali and haven't had any real issues. The one time I got two dresses that were way too big it was my own fault for not looking at the sizing info properly haha

and even in those cases with the price so low it ends up less of a drama c':

I got my fc, now I can start really thinking of what I'm going to do, buy sets and sell separates or just sell the fc o':

Uh, difficult decision time!

I was good and didn't check out aliexpress, but I just requested a custom order for two hairsticks on etsy :mcblush: But to be fair, I have been thinking about ordering at least one at this shop for a while and I promised to myself that I was allowed to if I passed an exam that I had this summer, which I actually passed with a super surprisingly good grade, so it's ok ;) And it just makes sense to get two at once since the shipping costs are quite high... Or so I tell myself, at least ;)

Ooh treat yo'self! Its different imo if its a goal you set yourself in the past and you actually achieved the goal so you deserve the reward. Way better than impulse buys where you just order and order cause you have the money and it happened to catch your eye or sth haha

I always do it that way with hair jewellery, since that stuff is way too prone to catch my eye and make me go "I neeeeed this". But luckily it's mostly just in general for the shops and not just a particular piece, because then I'd have to order right away before it's gone ;) But this way, when I see some awesome shop and really want something from them I think about what kind of stuff I have coming up that I could reward myself for and then pick one and say "okay, if you still think of this when this thing has happened and you still want it, then you can go ahead and buy something." I already have another shop that I found recently up for "when I finish the report I'm working on and pass the course" :D

That's a good work ethic c:

I tend to have wishlist all over the place, and I always just tell myself 'after you've put x amount on your savings acc, all the bills are paid and you have at least x left for groceries and emergencies, you can spend x on something you'd like now' and I have to say even then its usually stuff I actually need around the house and such or something that needs to be replaced. I do like to buy necklaces and rings and stuff for my lolita but I can honestly say that's less than half of what I've bought recently.

My last shopping spree includes lil doorstoppers and a yoga mat to exercise xD

That sounds like your doing a pretty good job with regulating your spendings, too :)
Door stoppers and yoga mats count as sensible purchases ;)
But yeah, I like to shop for such items as well, although I also sometimes buy a lot of clothes on a whim... (Ok, not really a lot at once, like, two or three pieces during one afternoon out shopping or something... But sometimes I do that too frequently.)
