I finished Cartwheeling in Thunderstorms. I thought it was very good. And a lot of the reviews said that they didn't like this book as much as her others, so I am eager to try something else by her now.
I gave up on The Unlikely Master Genius. I was about 40 pages in, and I was really forcing myself.
I also gave up on The Lady in the Attic. I got about halfway through, and I couldn't take another second of it. It's one of those really wholesome mysteries. It's about a lady who finds a cross stitch of a woman. She goes on a mission to find out who the woman is. And that's it. That's the whole mystery. So the book follows her as she asks around, takes pictures of the cross stitch, goes to a diner, talks to a handyman, feeds the cat, goes to a knitting group, etc. I was so bored.
I started reading Beyond Scandal, which I quite like so far. It's one of those old timey trashy romances I think (not 100% sure because I'm not very far in, and I don't read the blurbs on the back).
