It's hard to just focus on collecting pop ups with nothing to do in the background. I can't sit and just not do anything with my hands anyway.
It is, but I don't think I'd ever use it sadly.

If I try to build an avi around a specific item, I always end up removing it because it ends up not going. lol. I have a hard time making an avi I like though. I keep trying to make a spring one, but failing.

I can relate. Sometimes the Collector's Corner in-thread avi contest theme is around a particular item and I have quite a struggle with the DAC trying to make an avi I like with that item.

I remember doing one of those a long time ago because a friend hosted it. I can't remember what item she did but I remember it was hard to make an avi with it.

I participate every time I can. It's a lot of fun cause I don't get to experiment with dressing up avis very often otherwise. I like that there's a DAC for that reason.

I usually just mess around with my wardrobe when I make avis. It's so hard buying avi items nowadays that I try to avoid thinking about items I won't be able to get.

Yeah, it's near impossible to buy avi items nowadays unless you spend FC. Before the release of Lava Lamps I was always struggling to earn food though so my buying power wasn't much then either. But at least people sold items for food back then.

It's kind of ridiculous that I'll sometimes see past event items being sold for FC. I can see why newer users would, but who will buy it for like 5 FC?
Lava lamps made me too rich since I have nothing to buy. I was trying to save up for a knuffel auction, but even using my max FP I had at the time, I would still be outbid. Now that I've accumulated more, I don't even know if we'll get another one.
