My one friend was happy it started raining, as they lives in the area that catches fire every single year. They didn't have to evacuate because of the rain. They be keeping stuff in the car just in case tho.

I remember the Ontario fire last year, as the smoke came down to Ohio!!! o3o My asthma/allergies did not like that smoke. x-x

I can't use the burnable inscents anymore... I use to love those... sandlewood ones, and the strawberry ones..

I have to use oils with my air purifier to scent up my room.

My oil diffuser is currently being used as a water diffuser in my parents room lol. Bc their humidifier is dead. Lol. I should get a new diffuser or a humidifier for them. But humidifiers/air purifiers are so much more expensive then an oil diffuser. Lol

Some of the fires in Alberta never went out because of the peat. And yeah, new ones started even before the snows were gone. One small town some north of here had to be evacuated completely, and Fort McMurray was in danger again last I heard.

Last year there were times when the capital of Alberta was in danger from the fires, and people in the satellite cities were being evacuated. There was at least one night that I could see the flames through the window of the place that I was living in the centre of town.

I bought a book called The Summer Canada Burned. I haven't finished it yet, but it yet, but it says that the whole ecosystem here has changed.

Yeah the wildfires were pretty badd last year. And the fact that they’ve already started so early this year. It’s very concerning.

I hate that anyone has to go through wild fires. I've left from hurricanes but I've never been through a wild fire.

Yeah and imagine how many people all these natural disasters affect. Even when there’s no fire, we get what comes with it: smoggy days, the smell of burning. All carried through the wind.

Also more expensive food, because crops either burned or didn't do as well.
