depending on the kind of hair, how often you yourself have tweezed or shaved it etc it can take 6 to 12 treatments, and I dare say most salons are going to push for the bigger number on that scale for obvious reasons c':
I know this because a friend of mine had it done, they're a mtf transgender and had their face lasered and it took 8 sessions

I don't know anyone who has done it, but I find it an interesting idea, too. Would be nice to just never need to deal with it again... But I'm not sure if I'd be ready to invest a ton of money into it.

I don't know the actual price per session as I'm sure it varies, but it can't be cheap and if you really need to go for 6-12 sessions the cost can really add up o':
edit: I just looked it up out of curiousity and in the US the treatment cost is around 235$ per session. Imagine needing like 8

yeah.... compared to a single pair of tweezers, that's far too much.

Puh, yeah, that's super expensive. I mean, it does save you time in the end, probably, but is that really enough to justify spending that kind of money? It's not gonna save you money at that price point, you can buy a lot of tweezers/razors/sugar with that...

yeah its def for people who have the money and find that the comfort of never having to shave that area is worth the price. But that's not me! :'D
anyway I'm off to bed, got an early morning tomorrow. G'night everyone <3

Good night, may you have fascinating dreams.
And I don't think it would even save you time, if you calculated in how much time you'd spend earning the money used on the treatments....

I do my the whole of my legs...and I epilate because the shower hot water only lasts about 15 minutes, which isn't enough time to shave.
I epilate my underarms too generally at night before a shower though sometimes during the day if I need to cause of wearing a certain shirt or piece of clothing that won't cover the underarm hairs.. (preference thing).

My bff had her legs lasered, but it was quite some time ago and I can't remember how many sessions it took. I remember the price was a killer but she said the hairs would start growing back after a few years. Probably not in the same quantity though. I'm not sure.

Oh wow, I would never shave my underarms, that seems like a lot of additional work. For some weird reason, I have no problem with hairs there compared to the leg hairs. But my underarms are usually more tanned and the hairs bleached a bit from the sun, so they're actually not very visible.
Only 15 min hot water for showering?

I wouldn't manage to wash my hair that way :D
If it only lasts a few years, that kind of makes the investment even less appealing... Although probably if fewer grow back you'll need fewer treatments the second time if you have it done again.
