I only use a tweezer for the hairs that couldn't be caught by the twezers in my epilator. Unless they are barely visible, then I don't even bother xD
But yeah, I think the pain is just an objective thing and for some people sugaring is more painful than waxing and for others it's the other way around.
I'm in the camp that I hate going someplace else to do my hair removals, so I prefer home means. That's either shaving creams/foams that aren't effective for me, plus I'm too impatient to do them, normal shaving which is annoying and time consuming and also terribly not effective, then waxing stripes, totally messy and I always get stuck to something... and then there' epilating, which despite the pain is perfect for me. I do it once a week or so (not sure yet, because didn't use the new one for legs yet) and you can definitely get used to the pain with the right epilator. It's not like waxing where you shift your hand wrong and half of the hair stays on your leg, with epilator you can always adjust.
Major downside is that I take a shitton of time to get used to the idea of doing my legs and then it takes me forever xD

Mm, yeah, I do like the control (and portability, and quiet) of tweezers. You don't need a lot of gear, you don't need a lot of space, and you don't even need a lot of time because you can do it in bits and pieces here and there and eventually it's done.

I'm really only going to shave my legs again tomorrow for the surgery and after that I'm done with the whole idea c':

Oh, well, legs. I never bother with legs. I guess if I were going to have surgery, then maybe like you, but otherwise.... it's just legs.

For me it would feel like a neverending work with just tweezers, because whenever I'd remove some part and leave it at that, it would grow back within the next 2 days and when I'd start working on another patch, I'd have to first fix the newcomers XD I'm a perfectionist, if I'm not perfectly smooth I gotta fix it. Or stay hairy until the end of time xD
for me it's just legs that my boyfriend touches and he isn't disgusted or anything, but he calls me a doe or lemur... he's not mean about it or anything, but I feel ugly with hairy legs. It's a miracle I can stand them when they're covered with jeans or tights, otherwise it would be a nightmare xD

I'm like mem, tweezers just seem like neverending work :D
The nice thing about sugaring is that you can even cook the paste at home, just from sugar, water and some lemon juice. We've done it before after some online recipe, but sometimes the consistency doesn't turn out right and the batch ends up as candy instead - it's tasty though ;) I also like to steal some of the working paste for eating when it's homecooked ;)
I wish it worked for my armpits, but no way...

Ha I'd really just let it 'accidentally' turn into candy probably c':

Mmmm, I guess that would make a difference. I don't think I've ever had a romantic partner who really loved legs, they were all more fixated on other things. And my personal clothing habits typically leave legs covered by several layers, so I guess that makes it easier to forget about them.
Has anyone here ever done that laser thing? I know you can't do that at home, you have to go to get it done professionally, but I hear that once you finish a laser hair removal treatment, you never have to do it again because the hairs don't ever grow back.... it sounds almost too good to be true.

it does, because you never get that result from just one treatment. You need several sessions and they're expensive ;o

So how many treatments, and does it really take care of it for good after that?
