Well, depends on what one considers cold... Usually, it doesn't get colder than -10°C (14°F), but sometimes it gets as cold as -20°C (-4°F). I've once been sitting at the station waiting for the metro at -13°C (8.6°F) while I was ill and that dratty vehicle didn't come! I sat for about 40 minutes shaking and feeling bad.

I guess in Utah, it can get very cold, nah?

it usually does not get much colder than 0° F here in the winter. it has gotten as cold at -20°F before that i can remember. but the main thing is we get a lot of snow here.
7-10ft of snow in the mountains is average. where i live we usually have at least 2-4ft throughout the winter.

darn that metro. that is way too cold to be outside! especially if you were ill.

i want to live somewhere where it is warm all the time. i hate the cold.

Oh my, that's extremely cold!

I already decided for myself that I will move abroad some day. I'm not 100% sure if it'll be after my graduation or if I continue my studies there, but I won't stay here forever. I'd like to live in Italy, though only time will tell if I'd really like it there. Maybe I'll have to try several countries before I find the right one...

Well, have you considered moving? I don't mean to move abroad, but maybe a warmer part of the US?

That's a good idea indeed! I myself only have plastic hangers.
