I'm honestly surprised that my sister showed up for our holiday meal.
Did y'all get any cool gifts? My favorite one this year was the 6lb food service tub of nutella lol.

I like the gifts that I got.

Almost better. In that recovery stage where everything seems yuck and fail.

My brother got me a Dragon Ball Hoodie (Not dragon ball z, plain good ol' dragon ball!) and some food storage containers that I took advantage of, and cooking/baking utencils. ovo Now i just need a new silverware set and a new knife set and a new cookware set and a wok and I am good to go! xD

Rho got me a few pokemon TCG booster packs and a winter knit hat with pikachu on it.

Ruru got me a Mii-kun plush from the series Miira no Kaikata

Hope everyone had a good holiday. Mine was ... okay. Yeah, we'll go with 'okay'. My niece (the only kid) had a good time. She has recently gotten into dragons so she had a very dragon-y Christmas. My nephews are both older so one got cash (for car parts) the other got stuff for college. We're actually pretty boring as a family.

Our family doesn’t do Xmas apart from maybe a slightly more special dinner. Which means we don’t do the gift giving thing. No gifts hahaha.

Do chinese canadians have a similar holiday they celebrate? o3o

My family has never done the Christmas dinner thing. My Mom always did breakfast on Christmas morning when she was alive. My sis-in-law has grabbed that tradition (thank goodness). When my sister and her family come up after Christmas we just get pizza.

Mom was very big on the christmas (and thanksgiving) meal tradition... was the only time of year she could get turkey and ham for a good price. =w=,
