more like congee for the soul. or in this case, to cleanse my body. 8u i'll be on watery rice mush for a few more days. my tummy did not appreciate me eating the slightly more oily foods today. 8u

Congee is like Chinese people oatmeal but with rice. Generally, the restaurant made congee would use alot more different ingredients and even add taste boosters and stuff. True Chinese congee, made for people who are ill and need to cleanse their body, is made with just plain rice and water with a bit of salt and a slice of chenpai (which is dried mandarin orange peels which you can buy from Asian supermarkets and Chinese traditional medicine stores). The peels used are specially dried and preserved.

In other words, congee is just very very plain.

No green keys either lol.
