@Nuke: That's cool. Most of mine involve in order; I don't favor feeding one over the other much, except Kobu's in my sig so he's getting more attention now, I guess. I just want to see him with hooves since I like fauns. XD

Oh, yeah, good, good. I love the weekends because I don't have to watch the kid, but this week was just cramming in late assignments. Everything's sent before the final due date so far, but I still have a lot of big projects to wrap up on. I need to do a lot of it tonight so I don't have to worry tomorrow and Tuesday. After that, I'm good to go.


@Alice: I own it too, actually, though I collect one of everything, so I'm not going to sell it. I don't use the old BGs much because I think their colors absorb the avatar. I don't like BGs much in generally when I dress up my avvies --though somehow they've become a necessity. *headfloor*

The market system came out just this year, right? Give it time, I'm pretty sure someone will have it out by October.

Oh, is that true for the bidding? It doesn't seem so in the cases that I've bidded.


Gonna go update the front page in a bit. Then maybe I'll have some sorbet.

@Hart- I actually didn't feed her more than Henshou. She digs a lot better than he does. He's always finding nothing and she finds all kinds of stuff, so it was due to the exp with that now that she out leveled him.

Ah, that's kind of a bother having so much to do, but once you're all done with it that'll probably be nice~

I wonder why some knuffels seem to dig better than others.

Yeah, I can't wait until school's over. I guess I should be happy that I didn't have to study so much this semester. It was mostly just "Do this. Read this. Do this." I could get used to this kind of straightforwardness and take-home tests. XD

@Alice: I'm not defending snipers or anything, but EVERYONE wants an auctioned item as cheap as they can get it. That's part of the reality and risk of auctions.

I'm not entirely disagreeing with what you're saying, however; having an extension in the bids would discourage snipers and that's a good thing. *nods*

Aha, I get that --you're taking traits you like and using it for your own OC, ne? I've done that a couple of times --though he bears little resemblance to my friend at all, my OC, Damian has an optimistic and outgoing personality that was inspired by said friend. Their similarities kinda end there, but I still remember it because I remember thinking that incorporating such a trait in an RP character would pull other characters into the story. Well, in any case it was much easier RPing with him and with others because of it. XD

For myself, I would say that I'm influenced by everything and anything; I've personified personal electronics (the Wii, and my laptops, and PSP) as characters, animals and flower themes have gone into some of them, and everything from my hobbies, to habits, to favorite things, to living environment have influenced one character or another in some way.

When I was a young writer, I read a couple of books and articles on writing --one of which advised me to keep my eyes and ears open for inspiration. I guess I've been following it ever since.

As for fandom-related materials, I used to make fandom-based characters for fandoms I liked --Mary Sues/Gary Stus at first, not too surprisingly, but later original characters set in an AU universe without the cannon characters, mostly written because I liked the world concept and wanted to write something based off that. Later on, I realized that I would never be able to fully understand a world/fandom the way the author does, and thought I had enough creative talent besides to make my own sort of world. The gap between me and fandom RPs widened considerably after that, and I got into some serious world building, which was something I've always enjoyed. It's gotten to the point that I no longer feel comfortable going back to a fandom, though with Legend of Korra coming up, I definitely want to give another crack at it. XD

My most recent fandom influence was "Howl's Moving Castle," I guess, which got me into thinking about wizards, and wanting a wizard character, and led up to the creation of Claudius and Faris. Faris' apparent lack of responsibility and the correlation between power and vanity might be influenced by the book, but my goal was ultimately something original and set apart from the "Howl's Moving Castle" world and storyline.

I don't browse through fashion magazines much, but I do save images of outfits I like, and I have personality books that I go through, and I do quizzes and memes for characters. Everything and anything I think I can do I will do for the sake of retaining information and experience for a story or in order to make a story more realistic or push it forward. Admittedly, I'm a bit obsessive.

I love plants and flowers --being around nature is very calming for me. Most of my naga have colors based off of plants: Pavan's colors are from a lily pond, Avishai's is the Venus flytrap, Kazhar's the iris of Edom, and there's another unnamed one who's going to be a tiger lily. I also have a couple of dryads. :3 Male, mostly, though it kinda conflicts with the green myths (just like my male harpies. XD; )
