updated the front page with some more recent Sun & Moon news as well as the Pokémon Generations trailer.
it's been a long, long time since i watched any of the Pokémon anime and needless to say, the trailer got me chicken skin and a shiver down my spine.

Got a new phone today and Pokemon Go downloaded, started and ran just fine.....it just has the glaring red GPS error at the top of the screen and it won't go away. I've checked that the GPS is on and that it's on high accuracy. Now I'm updating everything I can to see if that helps. *sigh*
At least I still have my old phone, I can turn my new one into a hotspot and play PG that way if I have to. But it'll be sad as I got this new phone specifically because of it's awesome battery life and processor.
I'm only 5k from hitting level 22. So close.
Tomorrow I leave on a trip to Denver. Get to go catch Pokemon with my sister, so long as I can get the GPS to work.

Do you also have WLAN turned on? I found that seemed to help with the location accuracy quite a lot when I had trouble with that in the beginning.

I did get it to work eventually. I updated everything on the phone and it sorted itself out.
So I've gotten as far as Nebraska on my trip to Denver, Co. Been playing PoGo along the way as well as I can. I've almost run out of Pokeballs and Pokestops are very scarce along I80. I've managed to hit maybe 7 Pokestops the whole trip. I should be able to completely refill once I hit Denver itself, thankfully.
I've hit level 22, which gave me a few more Ultraballs to use.

Some of the new pokemon are pretty funny-looking. XD But I'm really interested in the story regarding the ultra beasts. They look neat.
And we're getting some character customization again? ouo

Yay for character customization! I loved it and was really hoping it would be included again :)
I'm curious what the story of the ultra beasts will be, too, but I'm not too fond of their design. But hey, you can't like everything ;)

Also, I managed to make it to level 19 in GO. More pokeballs!
