Oh yes, people are also some of my least favorite creatures. Lol. I don't understand all of their social norms and am outcasted. Or completely ignored. I am amazed by people's ability to ignore me. It sucks.

But I do hope the visit is more fun than awful. That would be nice.

(I told them I had to go wrap presents for them to take home for upcoming birthdays and disappeared for a bit. I've got another maybe 8 minutes? But I really do have to wrap stuff. Anyhow, so far so good.)

Just wrap really slowly.
Or say you have a headache and need to lay down. Don't mention that they are the headache. Lol.

how do you wrap a bicycle pump??? Maybe I can just draw some candles and balloons onto burlap sacking or something.... make a lot of bows in the twine....
I did really well with everything except for that, and fortunately everything except for that is fitting into the trunks they brought. Suitcases, that is. Not actual trunks. Either way. The one thing that didn't fit so they won't take back is the one thing I didn't wrap very well, so now I have some extra time to figure it out, but blessed if I know what to do with it.

It doesn't come with a box or anything? :o I'm shook. The only thing that comes to my mind is using some kind of a bow... But that's no surprise then.

What kind of bicycle pump? If it's mostly cylindrical, I would suggest wrapping it like a candy, just roll it into paper and tie the ends with bows or something.

This is one of those older versions that I picked up cheap at a yard sale and then repaired. It's got the rectangular stand on the bottom to stand on and the T-bar handle on top to pump, plus the long hose with its cap. So it's mostly cylindrical but not entirely because of the base and the handle. So while I actually do have a couple of mailing tubes, it won't fit. And since it was second-hand (probably twentieth at this point), it didn't come with a box. I could maybe try and find a box somewhere. The grocery store lets people grab any of their extra boxes, I'll head over there later and do a quick search through that, maybe. It'll need to be pretty long and oddly flat and... well, maybe I could just get some larger boxes and cut them down.
