I'm like Chriz, always running away from the ball, or missing it. I once tried to kick a foot ball, my foot went over it XD Luckily I didn't take the laughter as people laughing AT me, because I was laughing too.
I wasn't just bad at ball games, I was bad at exercise in general, what a nightmare. So other sports weren't an option.

I was also generally bad at all the sports we did in school. I did horse riding and ballett in my free time though, so it wasn't like I was simply hating all sports. I just hated all the sports one does in school :D

My problem with school sports was less the actual physical activity part and more the competitive part. I was NOT competitive. At all. And I really disliked being told that I had to be. So I would spend the time "moving the worms off the field so they don't get stepped on" and such like that, instead of doing what I was supposed to be doing.

sport being made into something gradeable and competitive really turned me off from sports in school. I used to do some horse riding and general fitness outside of school, but eh I've never been a sportsy type c':

Yeah. The cooperative games where the whole class was working together on some goal, those were still fun.

sadly most of the kids in my class were really competitive in nature so they would turn every single lesson into a competition on their own. I don't think I have any good memories of a nice sports lesson c':

The one sports thing I liked in school was in our last years when we could choose more specialized sports courses and I took a judo one - that was great, the first time I've been good in sports in school! But then again, I think you're onto something with the competitiveness... While judo might seem very competitive from the outside, it was actually very much about working together with your partner to learn the different techniques and being respectful and careful to not hurt each other. I rather liked that :)

I've just been throwing at level ones. Takes a lot less time to get points.

I also throw at lower levels, throwing at higher or same levels isn't worth the extra 2 or so points cause you miss more often c':
my brother did judo for years, now he plays volleybal. It suits him cause he's a competitive person haha
