well it at least will prevent permanent hearing damage if they can't get to loud (although the news stated that even those for kids are already to loud for human eardrums).

But do I pay for them or see if I can swipe mom's first and keep waiting for prices to drop?

My mother would either kill me or get the axent ones for herself if I swiped her headphones.
You can ask if you can borrow your mom's for a while, but get your own. :}

The one place they went was a quiet tour so they have a whole mike and headset system so mom got me I don't know how many cheap piece of crap ones for now

Still nabbed hers tho, she's even said that she won't use them again

Sorry for being AWOL yesterday. I had a busy evening and didn't have much time to be on the 'net.

So how's everyone doing? I'm getting back into the swing of work after being gone for so much. We're still behind though. Now everyone's scrambling to use all their vacation days before the end of the month (which is the end of our fiscal year).

Cuz the new system at the former summer job is overly strict and since I've been sick they decided that five years good attendance (the one was good when I wasn't on medical leave) isn't good enough so I was "too unreliable" so bye bye that job
And naturally mom found out first and she overreacts much like my one sister so now I have less than a month to get my license, a job, a place to live, a new phone, etc
License: I'm pretty much ready as it is
Job: relies on license
Place to live: two cats makes that very hard from the get-go
New phone: yikes
Everything else: I'm doomed

I'm hoping that dad will help, at least in part
hate to tell you mom but I'm taking the Wii, since you never use it anymore. Would take the 360 too but that's your DVD player
