I'm having a similar kind of issue.

I've been logged into the MMO I play all day, and spent mosta that time in AFK mode since I've been here. I keep telling myself I need to go play there... but i keep being here instead.

It is definitely very nice here, and tempting to stay longer than intended.

I keep saying I should go eat, but "one more item unlocked first! Oh but the digging tab has been open forever and you haven't touched it!" etc

Eating isn't an issue for me. I do that at the computer station.

I've come close to sleeping here as well, though that's not intentional.

True but i work a lot and do so many errands. I’m pretty much using this as a distraction from my exam application since the exam board hasn’t called me back regarding the question I asked.
