I agree. People have matured from "sticking their fingers in their ears and making loud noises" when they hear something they do not like to "screaming they are offended and blocking people". Back when people did the former, everyone chastised them. Now, people reward this behavior. It's grown into an epidemic where no one can hear anything they do not agree with or else they will be irreparably mentally damaged and need immediate internet assistance and a block to save their lives. Now, anyone wanting these people to grow up gets treated as a criminal. Forget about the truly important and offensive things in the world like child slavery and genocide. No.... insulting someone's pumpkin latte is the real offense.

@Moi
The movie you mentioned doesn't sound like it would offend me at all, and I am a trans guy. (I haven't seen it, but I love Robin Williams)
It doesn't make sense to cause drama over something like that, because it wasn't trying to be transphobic. We should be addressing things that are actually offensive, instead of creating drama where there isn't any.

But for the most part, I suppose a lot of people these days seem like they are over sensitive. While their heart is in the right place, it does make important issues (like lgbt rights) harder to be taken seriously, and can make things more difficult for us. :mcsweat: But I would prefer that than everyone be aggressively offensive.

The creepypasta comment looks like someone jumped to conclusions and was looking for an argument, clearly they need to relax lol

I agree it's good to laugh about things, it can help people deal with them. But I think you can still be offensive even if you ween't trying to be, I've done it on accident before. If so I just apologise, my bad.
But if someone tries to make out like I was intentionally trying to be, especially when it isn't even offensive, yeah, that's annoying. :mcmeh:

I totally agree. I do my best to be kind and respectful to everyone I talk but sometimes I feel like I shouldn't say anything anywhere because what is considered offensive by whom is changing so fast everywhere.
