You earn money for re-releases same as original releases. However re-releases cost money and unless you sell a lot right/all right away, you might not make your money back. As far as I know you can re-release as many times as you want.

Yeaah and I always got a FC for around 12-15k but now it's 40 and idk what to do with myself ;o;
tbh I wish I could afford more art of my own bc I don't do them justice when I draw them myself :c gotta keep working on it

Gosh, I would do art just for an item or two, but then again I don't know what the prices for art here goes for! I have only just started doing some art contests here and there!
