It really depends on what I'm writing about. Stories and stuff like that? I'll type it out. Stuff like ideas and notes? I've got a notebook/journal collection for a reason (well, besides that I like to hoard.)

I like to write in a word processing program. I started out in a program called Write waaaaay back in the mid 90's and eventually had to migrate to Word. I still miss Write, it was more functional.

Today I found a working typewriter in my grandparents' attic and have taken it home to try.

That counts as a keyboard, right?

Oh I love both. I mostly type my books but when I get the urge to write I pull out a comp. book and a gel pen and just start writing some little story that's been bouncing in my head. Sometimes they turn into books but mostly they just don't go anywhere.

Gel pens are the best thing to write with. So satisfying.
