Ah ok...

So you can start with any quest you want... chose an easy first or a difficult one... that's up to you.
If you pick a difficult (*****) it could take some time to get all the material you need and as sid there, you have to finish it to start the next.

Yes you can quit one, but then it's gone for good and you cannot start it later again ... happened to me a while ago and then i was really angry bout myself cause i wanted that item ... well well

You cannot fail, cause the quest will stay open untill you found all the material needed to complete it or until you quit it.

Oh and you can take a look at all the quests available for you ... they won't start until you accept them.

I think this thread is actually more updated, though from my understanding, also not complete. It may give you an idea on which one you may want to do. For a first timer, I suggest you take a look at the recipes posted and see if you have a fixed material for any of them. You only need one of the fixed item. Rest, you'll have to trade with other users and you can do so in this forum. If you post your trade requirements in this forum, you may find that some users will donate to you the quest components you need. It is a very quiet, dead forum usually, though, so you may have to be patient.

All in all, you've joined at an opportune time. We're having an event so our site is more active. This means there will be more people in the Official Quests forum taking part in random acts of kindness. Good luck! Let us know if you have further questions!

You can see what kind of quests are available when you click on the Avatar pics in the castle.
The quests are listed there then and it will tell you the difficulty and what prizes you will get, but it won't tell you what's needed to comlete the quests.
This info will be given out by the Alchemist once you have started a quest.
