Such posts do not help anyone and just come across as posting for the sake of complaining, not for the sake of giving feedback or improving something.
It doesn't really take that much time to write "I would have liked to see this set in color X or Y.", which would be information I could actually use. 
I know it's not to hear that, sorry. :(
I think I would like the set in dark green. And bright red.

I am resisting the urge to buy. The cold gray and lilac in particular have a very nice, supple shade that makes them beautiful.

well respond to them anyway, of course you see all the other compliments.

some times yes, but not all the time
people just sometimes want to complain but maybe not really at you
or at anything.....just stating opinions.
and i feel like that is fine as long as it is respectful and un-spiteful to no one
i read all the comments and it seems like no one that is complaining
is doing it in an unrespectfulness manner.

My problem with this is that what they write is not helpful though. If they wrote "I do not like the colors, I would have liked to see this set in color X", that would be helpful, but just writing "I do not like the color" does not help me. It doesn't give me anything to work with and that is frustrating.
And if someone writes "I like the set" that is not "helpful" in the way of improving things, but it serves as encouragement to me and as a way to show they appreciate what I do. So writing the opposite, without giving suggestions for improvement/changes, also serves as the opposite for me: As discouragement and a way to show they don't appreciate. Might not be their intention, but this is how it comes across.
I just wish instead of saying "I do not like" they would write "I do not like, but would have liked X instead". It is not so much a matter with things like writing "I do not like this particular set, it is not my taste". Sometimes we do not like things, for example the design of an item, without being able to point at what exactly it is we do not like about it. I understand this completely. That is also why I never say anything when I see such posts in item announcement threads. But with colors and a given color chart, it would be really easy to write something like "I would have liked this in red". It would be so easy for users to turn their posts from what comes across as nagging into useful feedback!
I try to improve the site and I really have a great pressure with TT and MT items to please as many people as possible, because the existence of this site depends on it. And especially in months were donations are going even worse than usual I have to put some serious thoughts into what I did wrong with the items and how I could avoid such mistakes in the future and that is where I need usres' help and do not understand why it is so hard to give a simple suggestion, like to point me into the direction of what colors they would have liked. I cannot just shrug it off and think "Oh well, not everyone can like everything", when I see multiple people writing the same, so I see that it is not just an individual opinion. It could really help if people explained themselves.

You do have a very good point here, it is true that it would be so much more
helpful if a person would say why/or why not they don't like a set
or update instead of just saying they don't like it.
Maybe they just didn't understand yet that they weren't giving useful suggestions when they disagreed, i know i didn't know how exactly what you wanted for us to say in order to improve it ^^; but now i do..and i'm sure some people reading through this will also.
And for future reference, i'll give Zia a note about this.
i know it isn't exactly in the remakes page.....but it goes right along with it.
