I usually don't post in announcements because everything I could say has usually already been said, but...

While not a personal fan of the yellow color, I find that it works quite nicely in contrast with the light blue-gray colors, and helps makes the text and designs "pop". The books are quite cute, and they don't stick out from the overall design. Although I did like the layout from before, I find this one to be a nice and refreshing change.


On a side note: the reindeer almost looks like it's laughing at us because we're all waiting for Part II and it won't be here for a few days XD (edit: and I now realize that that's the nose I was seeing as a mouth XD;)

Oo! forum update!
I love the blue parts, and the little books.
However, with my awful eye sight, I'm not at all keen on those yellow-cream sections. To me they are too bright - eye hurting bright. I would love to see them made a bit darker in color - maybe like the color of the scroll on the right that has all our fp/fc info . That would be perfect. Or, like its been suggested, have a pattern of some sort on them.

On the alternative, could an option to *choose* between the old and the new layout be added to board preferences? That'll be equally amazing as I liked the forum how it was before. Because, I'm not making this up, I cannot look at the yellow parts in their current stage
