Ah, cool, cool. X3 Sounds good to me. XD

Fear my pro art skillz
lies, all lies.Alright, some notes:
-The places that are outlined in black..don't need to be. I simply outlined them so they'd be easier to see.
-Yes, I know her eyes don't have any whites. I can never make it look right that way. So yes, her eyes are meant to have them don't worry.
-I imagined her sort of...glowing. That's what's up with the little lines xD I told you I'm pro.
-I named her Kichi, meaning fortunate. However, if you dislike that name or have a better name go for it. I just named her because I didn't like her being nameless.
-Yes, I see the pencil lines. I told you, pro artist in the making here. xP
-Now onto the reasoning. I thought about how in certain cultures you worship the Gods and Goddesses to bring you good fortune and look over you and whatnot. That was my basic inspiration. As I went on, I sort of got into a medieval sort of theme with her mixed with some Asian and it worked. She's mostly gold obviously because when you think of treasure you think gold and silver and all that fun stuff. I didn't like how silver would have looked and gold looked more...Goddess-y.
So after enough chatting, may I present you with
my entry.

I have an idea...but I want to check first before I attempt to draw something insane (it will be a valiant attempt!)
Does the shopkeeper need to be humanoid? Like, if I wanted it to be a kitty, could I make it a 4-legged kitty, sitting with it's tail curled around (maybe like Rufus on Gaia, for example, even though I'm not actually thinking kitty)? Or does it have to be bipedal?
Edit: I'm trying to do a basic sketch, and man, am I glad that ability's not everything. Though I do draw awesome tails....

These are my entries.
I went ahead and named them so it would
be easier for me to save them.
Feliae
He is not a pirate. I just have a thing for eyepatches.
His outfit was supposed to be a dark red, tan and black
but I was lacking those colors.
Calliope
I wanted to make her outfit stripey.
-passes out-
The colors are blue, orange, purple and black.
My scanner shows the orange to be reddish.
Chidori
I got to thinking about treasure and that led me
to think of royalty and royalty led me to think
of dynasties. His robe is a light blue. My scanner
didn't make it show up too well.
Hopefully they're not too complicated.

Hmm... I think humanoid characters are preferred, but as Firn is going to be drawing them into the shop, I'll leave it up to her to answer.

@Mikael: Thanks! I'll await Firn's response, while thinking of something a little more conventional

Dah! Dammit, I suck at bottom halves. x_x; And I'm like nearly done with one entry but totally didn't read the fact that it had to be full body. -headdesk- I'm a tard. >>; Or maybe I should try drawing the bottom half later....

Actually, Yuuko, I added that part in after someone asked. Why don't you make a second image of the character with how you think it should look? It doesn't have to be super-detailed, but, you know, enough to give us an idea of what it should look like?
