So, adding that information in, here's what we've got:

Hit the same rank or lower = 10 pts
Hit one rank higher = 12 pts
Hit two ranks higher = 14 pts
Hit three ranks higher = 17 pts
Hit four ranks higher = 22 pts
Hit five ranks higher = ? pts
Hit six ranks higher = ? pts
Hit seven ranks higher = ? pts
Hit eight ranks higher = ? pts
Hit nine ranks higher = 200 pts

Hm. 12 to 14 (goes to 2 ranks higher) adds 2
14 to 17 (goes to 3 ranks higher) adds 3
17 to 22 (goes to 4 ranks higher) adds 5
If I assume it's a modified (starting point differs) Fibonacci sequence,
going to 5 ranks higher would add 8, and be 30 pts.
Going to 6 ranks higher would add 13, and be 43 pts
going to 7 ranks higher would add 21, and be 54 pts
Going to 8 ranks higher would add 34, and be 88 pts
Going to 9 ranks higher would add 55, and be 143 pts. Except it has to become 200 pts.
So that's not the pattern.

Not quite halfway to another knuffel again. The progress was much faster when I was at home with the timer.
Doing it here at work is very inefficient, from multiple standpoints.
