I'm sitting here trying to organize about twelve boxes of Stuff from my grandparents' house and looking for a book that my grandmother wants. Except, of course, she doesn't remember the title. Or what it looks like. It's taking a while!

I love youtube. Well, except that my husband watches/listens to basically just Ninja Sex Party for hours and hours and hours at a time. Jesus. He needs some variety.

... ninja sex party? Uh. How would... I mean traditionally the thing about ninjas is that you don't see or hear them, right? So.... is it mostly just things mysteriously happening and everyone blaming ninjas? Wait, ninja sex party. So it's like park clean-up duty and you wonder how all those used condoms end up there and of course blame it on a ninja sex party?

Sometimes I treat conversations like science experiments. You look at the available data (what someone actually said), try to make sense of it by forming a hypothesis (the "??? ! ?!" phase), and then test it ("what did you actually mean?").
